Cock-up! UEFA play the Yugoslavian anthem instead of Serbia’s; U19 team sing it themselves

UEFA don’t really help themselves. In Serbia U19′s penalty victory over Portugal, UEFA created a rather embarrassing moment.

As Serbia were preparing to face Portugal in the U19 Semi-Final the National Anthems were played.

However, instead of playing Serbia’s national anthem, the organisers instead opted for the Former Yugoslavian anthem.

The confused youngsters were clearly not impressed and afterwards showed some great team spirit to huddle together and belt out their actual national anthem.

The first clip shows the wrong national anthem being played. The second shows the Serbian team singing their national anthem together.

As noted by Corey in the comments section, ‘The funniest part of the article is how UEFA has already blocked the content.’
