It may only have been a friendly but Jose Mourinho was not happy with the officiating in Germany.
The one true positive for the Blues was the first start in a Chelsea shirt for Belgium keeper Thibaut Courtois.
He may have been with the club for three seasons but Courtois had not played for Chelsea until this past Sunday.
And, in the first half Courtois made a stunning save from a downward header that showed Chelsea fans just what he is capable of.
Chelsea have placed a clip of the Courtois save on their YouTube channel – it can be seen above.
The battle between Petr Cech and Thibaut Courtois for the number one spot in the Chelsea goal should be fascinating in the coming weeks.
Reports in recent days suggest Courtois is set to get the nod from Jose Mourinho.
