Chelsea’s Marko Marin’s loan at Sevilla is doing the young German international the world of good.
Having only made 6 Premier League appearances last season, it was difficult to evaluate just how good he is, but his awesome performance at Rio’s Tesimonial earlier this month was clearly a sign of things to come.
Because he’s good, very good, and is setting Sevilla alight.
Marin scored two absolute peaches last night (though not quite Golazos); the first to give Sevilla the lead with a break into the box, stepover, and ridiculous finish with the outside of the boot (just look at the picture to the left for proof of the Tekkers involved).
For his second, which gave his side a 4-1 lead and effectively sealed the tie, he rounded the keeper with consummate ease and composure, showing ballerina-like balance to shift his feet and finish.
Watch Chelsea loanee Marko Marin’s awesome brace in Sevilla’s victorious Europa League qualifier on Thursday night.
