PSG were crowned champions of Ligue 1 tonight without even playing as nearest rivals Monaco drew at home to Guingamp before their game with Rennes.
It was the French club’s second successive title victory and has long been a foregone conclusion, with PSG sitting at the top of the table for most of the season.
It provoked reaction on Twitter but not all of it was positive.

PSG losing, but they're already champions after Monaco's draw earlier. Worst top-flight title race, after Bundesliga, this season. #Ligue1
