An eye catching picture came out of Flamengo’s training facilities on Saturday in Brazil.
The picture recorded the aftermath of the damage caused when the ceiling fell in at the club’s sauna.
According to reports, 10 members of staff were present at the Flamengo training ground when the incident happened, but happily nobody was injured by the falling debris.
The incident was supposed to have been caused by torrential rain in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday. Indeed, the weather must have been appalling having regard to the massive hole which appeared in the Flamengo ceiling.
The troubles at their facilities failed to hinder Flamengo on the pitch over the weekend, and the Brazilians giants beat Friburguense 2-0 on home soil.
Marcelo Cirino was the hero for Fla over the weekend against Friburguense as he scored a match-winning double.
Flamengo are currently second in the Campeonato Carioca, two points behind league leaders Botafogo.
