Manchester City’s emphatic 6-1 victory at Carrow Road on Saturday lunchtime threw up a couple of excellent clips after Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero had run riot against Norwich.
Carlos Tevez joined Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany with Sky’s roving reporter Andy Burton and the Argentinian produced what could well be the shortest interview ever.
Burton asked “Carlos, nice to be back,” to which Tevez responded: “Yes, I Man of the Match?” to which Burton replied in the affirmative and the former Boca, Corinthians, West Ham and Manchester United striker duly picked up his Champagne bottle and walked out of shot.
Of course, it is not the first time this season that Andy Burton had received short shrift from a Premier League footballer.
The entertainment didn’t end there as Mike Summerbee embarked on another post-match rant. The Manchester City legend was unhappy Burton had asked about a booking picked up by Tevez for diving.
Most amusingly, it is a surprise that Sky Sports invited Mike Sumerbee back as an analyst after his famous rant at Old Trafford in 2010/2011.
