But the Tractor boys will be boosted by their away form, having secured three victories and three clean sheets in their last five away trip. With Burnley expected to make some changes, anything is still possible for Ipswich.
Manager Mick McCarthy will be running a late fitness test on Christophe Berra, however Luke Hyam and David McGoldrick remain injured.
