British deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg calls for Russia to be stripped of 2018 World Cup

You can only imagine that Vladimir Putin and the Kremlin are shacking in their boots…

The front page of the Sunday Times sees the calls for Russia to be stripped of the 2018 World Cup stepped up a notch.

The headline on the front page of the world respected broadsheet tells readers that British deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg calls for Russia to be stripped of 2018 World Cup after MH17 was shot out the sky over Ukraine.

It’s worth noting that Nick Clegg and the Sunday Times are not the first publication to call for such action, as Germany’s Berlins Grösste Zeitung made the exact same demand last Monday.
