And it was going so well for Borussia Dortmund…
After four wins on the bounce in the Bundesliga that has seen Borusssia Dortmund escape the relegation dogfight, Dortmund were involved in cup action on Tuesday.
Fighting for a place in the DFB Pokal quarter-finals, Jurgen Klopp took his side to third tier outfit Dynamo Dresden.
Borussia Dortmund fielded a strong XI against the lower league minnows, and that meant that the likes of Marco Reus was included from the get-go.
Reus lasted just 25 minutes of the match before had to be replaced by Henrikh Mkhitaryan.
Reus was helped off the pitch by medics after he was fouled by Dresden defender Dennis Erdmann.
Dortmund are scheduled to face Hamburg (a) on Saturday in the Bundesliga, and then they play Cologne followed by Juventus in the Champions League.
