Wigan are in fine form and have only conceded three defeats in 24 matches since Uwe Rösler has taken over. Röseler has warned his players to stay grounded with the FA Cup semi-final v Arsenal also approaching. Wigan are confident of making the playoffs, as they are currently five points clear of seventh-placed Nottingham Forest with a game in hand.
Wigan will have Shaun Maloney and Gary Caldwell available for selection, but Ben Watson, Leon Barnett, Roger Espinoza and Chris McCann are both still out injured.
Bolton have also been playing well recently and have only lost once in eight. Bolton boss Dougie Freedman must decide whether to re-jig his defence again with Alex Baptiste back from suspension or continue the same back four as he did against Blackpool.
The Trotters will be without Marc Tierney, Joe Riley, Darren Pratley and Stuart Holden
