Reliable German newspaper Bild report that David Moyes and his scouting team at Manchester United were busy once again over the past weekend.
Manchester United did not have a game as they were due to play Manchester City who faced Sunderland in the Capital One Cup final.
Widespread reports in Germany confirm that David Moyes took in the 0-0 draw between Hertha Berlin and Freiburg on Friday night, where he watched Matthias Ginter play for the latter.
On Saturday, Manchester United scouts watched Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos, as he put in another controlled performance in the 5-1 rout of Schalke.
Finally, Bild add that Manchester United are also keen on PSG striker Edinson Cavani, who played the final 20 minutes of the 2-0 win over Marseille on Sunday evening.
To prise Cavani away from PSG may be hardest of all but it is fair to presume that Robin van Persie may well be on his way from Old Trafford this summer, if they are scouting strikers.
