We are in for a cracking two nights of Champions League football as the last 16 round comes to an end with four second legs that will no doubt excite with drama and intrigue.
Tuesday evening sees Barcelona attempt to turn it round against the Rossoneri after AC Milan’s surprise 2-0 victory in the San Siro.
Following two defeats to Real Madrid, Barcelona appear to be in the midst of a mini slump and could well be missing the influence of coach Tito Vilanova.
The Nou Camp will though be full to capacity and you can expect the Italians to defend deep and for much of the game. With the likes of Lionel Messi, Andres Iniesta and Alexis Sanchez going forward, Barcelona undoubtedly have the fire power to score the necessary goals.
But, the Catalans defence has struggled in recent months and if AC Milan, without Mario Balotelli due to being cup-tied, score, Barcelona will be under pressure.
Wednesday night also sees Arsenal looking to comeback at Bayern Munich, but for the Gunners, the odds are really stacked in the favour of the Germans.
Bayern Munich were hugely impressive at the Emirates, winning 3-1 in a dominant display that leaves Arsene Wenger’s side all but out.
The latest injury news that confirms Jack Wilshere will likely be missing only makes Arsenal’s task even harder but this could be offset by the fact Franck Ribery is out for the hosts.
Arsenal do have the advantage of a rest over the past 10 days due to Everton’s involvement in the FA Cup but the Gunners have their work cut out against the side now an amazing 20 points clear in the Bundesliga.
