It is fair to say that in 5 years a strike force of Romelu Lukaku and Gerard Deulofeu could play for any club on the planet and they will most likely be starring for two of the biggest teams in Europe.
On Saturday at Goodison Park, Gerard Deulofeu gave the first real glimpse of what he can do on his full Everton debut in the 4-0 rout of Stoke.
Last night Deulofeu was voted the best player in Spain’s Segunda Division for his performances at Barcelona B and it wasn’t hard to see why on Saturday.
Deulofeu scored one and bagged an assist against Stoke but it was his tricky dribbling and direct running that stood out with Danny Murphy on the video below comparing him to Middlesbrough’s former Brazilian midfielder Juninho.
Will Roberto Martinez start Deulofeu at Old Trafford tomorrow night?
Unlikely, but it would be great to see the Spanish youngster have a go at the Manchester United defence.
