Barcelona thank Carles Puyol with #GràciesPuyol video

It’s been a tough day for Barcelona fans.

After an incredible career at the heart of the Catalan’s defence, Carles Puyol has called time on his career in Spain. The Spanish international defender didn’t confirm that he’d completely retire from the game, but he did announce that he would be leaving Barcelona at the end of the season.

Carles Puyol enjoyed many successful years as captain of Barcelona and also a player with the Spanish national side. Puyol won many trophies including La Liga, Champions League, European Championship and the World Cup.

He has hinted that he could turn to management at some point in the future.
