The Barcelona players and staff held a special private gathering to mourn their late former manager Tito Vilanova this morning, who sadly passed away last night.
The Catalan captain Carles Puyol spoke to the club’s channel to pay homage to Tito, and offer his support to his family.
Puyol said: ‘It’s a tough and sad day, it’s been two and a half years of a struggle, and Tito fought right until the last day, the last moment.
Throughout that time, he’s been an example to all us, lifting our spirits and keeping morale up during the toughest moments.
We’re all there for his family for whatever they need.’
