Andre Villas-Boas let out a week of frustration on Sunday afternoon after his press conference having watched Tottenham draw 2-2 with Manchester United.
Undoubtedly, the main focus for AVB’s ire was the Daily Mail’s Neil Ashton who has written some spurious articles about the young Portuguese coach since the 6-0 defeat at Manchester City.
Ashton originally wrote that AVB was under pressure after the 6-0 humiliation at the Etihad before questioning his coaching skills and then listing likely candidates during a week of constant undermining of the Tottenham boss.
When asked about “respect” – AVB kicks off at about the 2:00 on the video below and pinpoints Ashton (also the host of Sunday Supplement) in a feisty presser.
Villas-Boas denies having a problem with Harry Redknapp but lays into Ashton who he feels attacked his “integrity” and “human values.”
