21-year-old Lewis Kinsella was left to laugh about his predicament on social media on Saturday night.
In remarkable timing, the defender managed to get relegated twice in one day.
Kinsella is owned by Aston Villa, however he’s currently on loan at Kidderminster Harriers in the Conference.
On Saturday, Kinsella was in action as Kidderminster drew 0-0 at home to Barrow. The result confirmed the club’s relegation from the National League.
At the same time, Aston Villa’s tortious season finally came to an end in the Premier League, as a 1-0 defeat at Man United confirmed the club’s relegation to the Championship.
Here’s how Lewis Kinsella marked his terrible Saturday.

Kinsella seems to be suffering the inverse season of Ritchie De Laet.
The former Manchester United defender has a chance to scooping not one, but two league titles this season: the Premier League and Championship.
The 27-year-old is currently on loan at Boro from the Foxes.
De Laet made 12 Premier League appearances for Leicester before moving to Boro on loan in January. That’s more than the five games needed to earn an EPL medal.
