On a poor night for Arsenal in the Capital One Cup against Chelsea, pint-size Spanish midfielder Santi Cazorla was one of the few Gunners players who had something to smile about.
Cazorla was used as the Arsenal playmaker in the No.10 role, and while the midfielder picked the ball up in good positions and produced some lovely touches, he was unable to pick out the final pass.
Cazorla, though, was able to get the better of Chelsea duo Michael Essien in a terrific moment in the first half.
Cramped in near the touchline, and with Kevin De Bruyne also sniffing around, Cazorla tricked his way out of danger by sticking the ball between Essien’s legs.
