Andrey Arshavin ripped to shreds on Twitter following woeful 15 minute performance for Zenit v Dortmund

Former Arsenal playmaker Andrey Arshavin was only on the pitch 15 minutes during the first leg clash between Zenit St Petersburg and Borussia Dortmund.

The former Russian star watched on as Borussia Dortmund took a 2-0 lead within five minutes thanks to Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Marco Reus.

Then on 15 minutes, Arshavin trundled off due to injury. Or was Luciano Spalletti trying to change the dynamic of the first leg?

The Champions League tie was all but done in five minutes.

And, it looked like Arshavin was deserting ship.

Twitter took aim at the little Russian and it wasn’t pretty!
