After Electroshock football, TV2 try out Bubble football (Boblefotball)

Last month, one of the most popular clips featured on 101 Great Goals was Norway’s TV2 trying out Electroshock football with a ton of ex-Premier League stars. (Article here and video here.)

This week, hosts Johan Golden and Henrik Elvestad, of the Golden Goals show, have conducted another football experiment called Bubble football.

Golden and Elvestad brought professional teams Sarpsborg 08 and Fredrikstad together and played them off against each other with all the players surrounded by big plastic bubbles which they wear like ruck sacks.

With as much physicality allowed as possible, there were plenty of players bumping each over in the early stages and this only gets worse as they get used to their bubbles.

The second half is much more of a free for all with plenty of hilarity and this is one of those videos that will be featured on every football website across the glove.

Footage of Bubble football is on this video.

(The video should play automatically with English subtitles, if it doesn’t click on “cc” in the bottom right hand corner.)
