News has filtered out from PSG training on Wednesday of a fight between team mates Adrien Rabiot and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
According to leading French daily L’Equipe, Rabiot and Zlatan were trading insults throughout the session, and eventually the tension escalated. The paper continued:
There was an ongoing tension, Rabiot was teasing Ibrahimovic as he usually does. The Swede didn’t respond well this time, and the argument soon escalated both verbally and physically.
Brazilian star Thiago Silva reportedly needed to intervene to separate the warring parties.
No pictures or video has yet come out to show exactly what happened.
The incident came after a group of PSG players, including Zlatan, were pictured enjoying themselves around bikini-clad women at a pool party in Las Vegas.
PSG have already won the domestic league and cup double.
Looking forward, manager Laurent Blanc will likely be comforted that fights like today’s will soon be a thing of the past, as Ibra will be leaving the Parc de Princes at the end of the campaign when his contract expires.
