Kosovo’s KTV has snared an interview with Manchester United’s starlet Adnan Januzaj, and the teenager has provide plenty of overtures to reassured Red Devils his future remains at Old Trafford.
Amid a difficult start to the season for Manchester United, Januzaj has been a shining light for David Moyes.
The youngster has built upon a fine pre-season to make an immediate impact in the Premier League, with his match-winning brace against Sunderland the highlight of Januzaj’s start to the campaign.
With Januzaj’s contract set to expire at the end of the season, getting the attacking midfielder to sign on at Old Trafford is paramount for David Moyes and his team, and Januzaj has now signalled that his future is with United in a new interview on Albanian TV.
Januzaj told Kosovo’s KTV:
From the beginning I wanted to play to United and now I’ve got the chance. I am happy with the two goals [against Sunderland]. Reactions to those goals were very good, and I was happy with both strikes. I work hard in training, the manager gave me an opportunity and I managed to score the two goals.
I hope this season will be very good. I want to give the maximum for United and become the best player in the world.
I’m able to learn from Ryan Giggs because we play in the same positions. I often ask him questions. I also have a good relationship with Sir Alex Ferguson who gave me my initial opportunity against West Brom.
I am a United player and will give everything for United.
