A truly magnificent goal from skipper Jamie Milligan took Fleetwood Town three points clear at the top of Blue Square North as his side inflicted a third defeat of the season on Farsley Celtic.
The goal of the game arrived in the 73rd minute.
Farsley keeper Skiba went walkabout outside his area to clear a loose ball, and although the visitors eventually managed to clear their lines the ball ended up arriving at the feet of captain Milligan just inside his own half by the centre-circle.
Then came the moment of genius.
Spotting the keeper still not perfectly positioned in his own six-yard box, Milligan opted to strike a shot straight at goal that sailed majestically over the goalie and straight into the net. David Beckham who have been proud.
