Take a bow son!
The Paraguayan Division Profesional, the top flight in the South American country, may not be one of the leading leagues in world football, but last weekend it threw up one of the great free-kicks of the 2009/2010 season as Inca scored an incredible 45-yard dead-ball howitzer.
The match in question was played between third-placed Olimpia and their eighth-placed rivals Sol de America, and everything looked to be going according to the form book as the hosts took a 33rd minute lead through Nelson Romero.
Sixteen minutes from time the visitors pulled level courtesy of Diego Arrua, and just six minutes later the match was turned on its head with Inca’s (real name Glaucineis Martins da Silva) unbelievable free-kick.

Inca’s goal brought back memories of a similar strike from South America back in 2007, when Venezuelan defender Jose Manuel Rey scored an almost carbon copy goal against Ecuador.
