Apologies for only bringing this goal to your attention now.
Last weekend in Cyprus, big-boys Anorthosis took on struggling side Doxa in a match which the former Champions Leaguers ran out comfortable 3-nil victors. And they did so in style as home striker Cafu grabbed a stunning scissor-kick goal to notch the second goal of the game.
Journeyman Arlindo Gomes Semedo, aka Cafu, is a 32-years Cape Verdean striker who has struggled to hit the big time in career although he appears to ending his footballing life on a high having score six goal in 17 matches for Anorthosis. And he surely wont have score many better than his goal last Saturday as the forward cracked a wonderful volley past visiting keeper Paiva that left the net bulging.
Prepare to be entertained, as Cafu’s strike can be seen here.
