The Bolivian Clausura staged its first set of games over the weekend and it is fair to say the goal of the second half of the season has been wrapped up.

Erlan Mealla is set to be featured on every football website across the globe (remember where you saw it first!) after scoring a flying back heel volley from outside the box in Nacional Potosi’s 1-0 win over The Strongest on Sunday.

The eventual winner was scored on 20 minutes from a right wing cross and is one of the most spectacular goals seen for some time as Mealla twists his body to score with a spectacular back heel volley.

Mealla is a 23-year-old Bolivian forward with four goals to his name this season but has been in and out the Nacional Potosi team.
