£10 into £27k!!!
The 101GG acca for Boxing Day came oh so close. One selection let us down – which would have earned us over 220 pounds from a 10 stake. So we go again…
Whilst we did fail, we were delighted to see one punter take the bookies for an absolute beating – winning 27,000 pounds from a 10 pound accumulator!
Here is our accumulator for Saturday’s Premier League games:
Here is our thinking behind a potentially glorious New Year’s Eve acca this coming Saturday.
Leicester vs West Ham:
Prediction: West Ham to win either half
Rationale: Leicester’s league form continues to slide and they are now in a relegation battle. They are only 3 points above the bottom 3 and have only won 1 of their last 9 league games. West Ham, meanwhile, are unbeaten in 4 and have won each of their last 3. Momentum is heavily on the Hammers side. It is going to be a tight game, however you can get very good odds on West Ham to win either half. It’s a no brainer for this acca.
Chelsea vs Stoke:
Prediction: Chelsea to be winning at half time and full time.
Rationale: 12 wins on the bounce, at home against a Stoke team that just got pumped 4-1 to Liverpool. We can only see this going one way. Chelsea have also been winning at both half time and full time in 8 of their last 11 matches. This looks like a safe addition to the acca.
Swansea vs Bournemouth:
Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals
Rationale: There have been over 2.5 goals in 8 of the last 9 games Swansea have played in. B
Bournemouth have also been leaky and conceded at least 3 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches. This should have loads of goals!
Southampton vs West Brom:
Prediction: Under 2.5 Goals
Rationale: With Charlie Austin still out and Redmond missing through suspension, Southampton are going to struggle getting goals. As for West Brom, there have been under 2.5 goals scored in 10 of their last 12 away games. This game has got minimal goals written all over it!
Manchester United vs Middlesborough
Prediction: Man Utd to be winning at half time and full time
Rationale: Man Utd have been winning at both half time and full time in their last 4 matches and are unbeaten in their last 9. Middlesbrough have lost 3 of their last 4 in the league and are winless away from home in the each of their last 8. This should be a comfortable win for Man Utd.
Liverpool vs Man City:
Prediction: Liverpool to win both teams to score
Rationale: Liverpool’s home record this year is very good! They are undefeated in their last 16 home matches and have scored at least 2 goals in their last 5 home matches. However, their ability to keep clean sheets has been very hit and miss. There are definitely going to be goals in this game, we reckon Liverpool will comfortably win too (sorry Pep).
