Liverpool head to Newcastle on Sunday looking to continue their incredible renaissance under Jurgen Klopp.
The German coach was predicted by many to make a big impact at Liverpool, but perhaps no one imagined just how good it would be.
Liverpool under Klopp are a fearsome proposition and Newcastle could well struggle to live with the Merseyside giants on Sunday.
Jurgen Klopp’s side head north on the back of four successive wins and have lost just once under their new German coach.
Their last three away results have been simply stunning. A 3-1 win at Chelsea was followed by a 4-1 battering of Manchester City. In midweek they thrashed Southampton 6-1 to reach the Capital One Cup semi-finals.
But, its not only Liverpool’s great form that suggests they are certain winners at Newcastle today.
The Toon are once again seriously struggling and their summer signings and manager Steve McClaren just look totally out of their depth.
Newcastle have lost their last two games, to Leicester and Crystal Palace, having conceded eight goals in 180 minutes.
Sitting in 19th, with a goal difference of -16, it would be a minor miracle were Chelsea to get anything out of this afternoon’s match against free-flowing Liverpool.
