Beckham bust-up sees Ching take an early bath (video)

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

Goldenballs has found himself part of another storm in a teacup Stateside after the LA Galaxy midfielder was at the centre of a coming together with Houston Dynamo forward Brian Ching that saw the Hawaiian striker receive his marching orders at the weekend.

The flare-up came about in the 81st minute as Beckham was involved in a reckless tackle with Dynamo’s Ricardo Clark. That led to an altercation between both clubs ending up with the dismissal of Brian Ching after the American international pushed Beckham in the face.

Giving his post-match comments on TV, Ching admitted that his red card was warranted saying “the referee came over and said I touched the player in his face, which I did. It’s my fault.”

A report into the latest Beckham incident, with Brian Ching offering his analysis, can be seen here.

No,no,no…. the MLS wont allow you to touch the fey one’s face.

But feel free to take an extra whack at the ankle.
Try to aim at right below the ankle bone for maximum pain and hopefully a fracture.
If youre afraid of skiding Brian, then might I suggest that the next 1vs1 challenge you lunge at the ball between his legs and then so slightly turn your kneecap to the inside of his thigh or for more damage to the inside of his knee.

THere are so many ways to get back at someone that its disappoiting to see idiotic face slaps.

I was at the game.It wasn’t Beckham’s face he touched, it was another player. He and Beckham played a little pushy shovey but that was all. The teams were both fighting hard and no one was getting anywhere so it got a bit tense and Beckham showed his frustration with some bad tackles but Brian Ching knows better and admitted he was in the wrong.
