The race for the Serie A crown ended in a whimper last weekend, as Inter Milan won the title by default after AC Milan fell to Udinese on Saturday night.
From the Nerazzurri’s point of view, it appeared to matter little that Inter won the title while nowhere near a football pitch. The squad gathered together at their Pinetina training complex to collectively watch the Rossoneri lose to the Zebretta, and the TV cameras were also invited to record the scenes of celebration.
With almost everyone on their feet as the final seconds ticked down, the noise volumes of the Inter squad grew rapidly louder in anticipation of the final whistle. And when the whistle finally arrived the squad immediately huddled together to celebrate their yet another back-to-back championship.
Video footage of Inter’s title celebrations can be seen here.

“I was against going into Milan to celebrate. Then the lads came to me and said, ‘We have worked 10 months for this: we need to go out and you have to come too.’ In that moment a manager loses his power.” - Jose Mourinho.
After the title was won, Inter’s players, against the Special One’s wishes, decided to hit the streets of Milan to continue the celebrations until the wee hours of Sunday morning. According to reports, many of the squad were out partying until after two a.m. and, when it came to their match against Seina on Sunday night, the after-effects of a heavy night out on the town were clearly evident on the pitch.
Suffering more than most was star-striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic who, visibly worse for wear, asked to be taken off early in the second half as the Swede struggled to keep up with the pace of the match. But in a classic Mourinho twist aimed at reasserting his standing as the boss, the manager point-blank refused to give-in to his forward’s wishes as Mourinho responded by using all three of his substitutions on other players.
Footage of Ibrahimovic throwing a strop on the pitch after not getting subbed can be seen here.

ibra did score tho.
the story sounds very plausible, but as i was only able to see the end of the game, after it was already 3-0, i had been reading some live text commentary at the time. ibra scored and from what i read, mourinho was ecstatic on the touchline. apparently he was kept on to try to match di vaio in the goalscoring charts. as i say, i never saw anything myself, so maybe far from gospel, but thats another twist on the story.
and who or what was ibra giving that look to at the end? seemed like muntari but he was doing nothing unusual. prehaps something out of camera…

if you only saw the end of the game why the fuck would you even raise doubts as to the accuracy of the story?
i watched it and every time a sub was made you saw zlatan cursing and looking annoyed, and why else would he bring on a keeper. As a Chelsea fan I can safely say that is exactly the sort of thing he’d do and deserves massive credit for forcing him to play on

dc, watch it yeah. if you could learn to read, that would help too. as i say, the story sounds very plausible (that means possible in case you dont know), and nowhere do i deny that zlatan is angry. you dont have to watch the game to know that, 101gg have made the video clip available above, plonker.
what i said was that whereas 101gg suggest jose did it to get his own back at zlatan, another source that i read said he was doing it to try to get zlatan the golden boot.
and you couldnt be any further up jose’s ass, could you? great manager, i think he is in the top 5 in the world right now myself no doubt, but to say he deserves massive credit for making zlatan play on, when HE HIMSELF let zlatan go out to party, essentially punishing him for something he condoned, is just stupid.

mourinho had said he didn’t want the players out partying so he was definatly making him pay. classic mourinho move

I can’t believe an anonymous poster told someone to “watch it”. What a pathetic cunt he must be.
As to the article, it’s well worth noting that despite having no concentration and being pissy all game, Zlatan did indeed score, presumably being so irritated at not getting his own way that he found the focus to do so. Fair play to the lad.
