With American soccer again in the headlines after the United States over-achieved at the Confederations Cup, a select group of American soccer stars of tomorrow we handed a huge treat this week as French legend Zinedine Zidane dropped in on their soccer camp to lend a helping hand.
Looking as fresh and young as ever, Zizou turned up in Vancouver to help inspire the group of around 100 teenagers by playing alongside the teens in practices matches and showing that, despite his retirement, the former world player of the year still retains his footballing brain and skills.
Footage of Zinedine Zidane’s American visit can be seen here.

Get your facts right! He was born in Algeria. He was NOT a natural born French citizen! Nothing against the bloke, easily one of the best ever players to play the game and he seems like a cracking bloke! Also, his sons on the books of Real Madrid and apparently he’s a real gem! Zidane II coming soon!
