Second division Polish football. These are the depths we plunge during international week, however what we have unearthed is a true gem.
The footage below comes from last week’s II Liga match between the league leaders, KSZO Ostrowiec, playing at home against eighth-placed Ruch Wysokie Mazovia.
Having played out 89 goalless minutes, there appeared to be little danger on as Lukasz Szymoniak lined up to launch a free-kick into the Ruch mixer from just inside his opponents half. But then, whether by design or luck, the incredible happened and seconds later the hosts were going mental having secured another three points in their march to the title.

that’s a great goal. great placement, whether he intended it or not. It’s a lot of luck sure but many great goals scored by many great players involve luck

It is not 2nd it is in the fact 3rd division. It is called 2nd now but major league is called Extraclass then we got 1st division and 2nd. SO it is far from any good lvl even for polish football.
But goal is nice

Wow..awesome goal. The keeper couldnt do much, no one was expecting a shot on goal from that distance..not even Lukasz himself imo

Lucky goals are scored every week in every league in every country; including the premiership (see Frank Lampard for further proof). Now and again one comes along that is special (see Ronaldinho vs Seaman ‘02), regardless of good fortune they are always great to see. Nice post.
