Spotted: David Moyes sneaked his way back into Goodison Park, impersonating a linesman [Photo]

This summer David Moyes left his post as Everton manager to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

It hasn’t been an ideal start for the respected Scotsman at United and it seemed Moyes – or at least his lookalike – was not far away from the action in Everton’s 3-2 win over Newcastle.

The Linesman who gave all 5 goals had a certain David Moyes look about him.

The only team left unbeaten in the Premier League, Everton haven’t been hit too hard by Moyes’s exit.

An added bonus of the photo is how chuffed the bloke sitting behind the linesman looks.

Manchester United starlet Adnan Januzaj scores a stunning golazo for the U21s

Manchester United fans are trying not to get too overexcited by the prospect of young Adnan Januzaj, but it’s clear they’ve got a real gem at their club.

The 18 year old winger has failed to disappoint in cameo performances for the first team this season.

Tonight he started in the Manchester United U21 game against Bolton and bagged an absolute beauty.

The Belgian star cut inside from the right flank before letting rip and beating the goalkeeper at his near post.

Check out the golazo here:

Hollywood star Tom Hanks tells Reddit he ‘relishes Aston Villa victories’

Tom Hanks is a legendary actor and tonight did an AMA (Ask Me Anything) on Reddit.

The Hollywood star first admitted he was an Aston Villa fan back in 2001 and has publicly made his affection for the club shown on a number of occasions.

He was asked “Mr Hanks… Hello from the UK… One quick pointless question but are you really nice as you seem. Tell us one thing that shows the dark side of Tom.”

Hanks responded in a very strange manner “I relish Aston Villa victories”.

We’re not entirely sure if that makes sense or not but we’ll applaud Hanks nonetheless for his relishing of victories.

Here’s a video of him with a Villa shirt from last year.

Struggling Sunderland close in on the appointment of ex-Brighton manager Gus Poyet [Di Marzio]

It’s now been eight days since Sunderland parted company with controversial Italian manager Paolo Di Canio.

One point from their first six games has left them rooted to the bottom of the table, and the boardroom want to appoint a new manager as soon as possible.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, (who broke the Di Canio sacking first), ex-Brighton manager Gus Poyet could be appointed as soon as tomorrow.

The Uruguyan ex-Chelsea star worked wonders last season, taking Brighton to the play-offs before leaving the club under a cloud.

Di Marzio claims Poyet is the most likely candidate for the job and he could be in the hot seat within the next 24 hours.
