Pompey sealed the win with a late second, Nadir Belhadj led a pacey counter-attack which was eventually finished by Nico Kranjcar. Wolves 1 - Preston 3 (Championship, January 10, 2008) Sylvan Ebanks-Blake converted a one-on-one chance with Andy Lonergan to put the home side in front. Elliott nudged Ross Wallace’s cross in at the near post to level and Sean St Ledger reacted quickest to stab home after Jon Parkin’s header hit the bar. Chris Sedgwick’s mishit shot was then turned in by Elliott to seal the win.

Burnley 0 - Swansea 2 (Championship, January 10, 2008) Jason Scotland’s brace ended Swansea’s run of eight consecutive Championship draws against 10-man Burnley.
