Daisuke Matsui: The Scorpion Pass

Its rare in football to see something for the first time, but last Saturday in France Le Mans’ Japanese international Daisuke Matsui pulled off a very special piece of skill.

Receiving a lofted pass on the left wing, Matsui played an incredible scorpion pass, striking the ball with the heel of his boot as the pass floated over his head. And what makes this skill so special is that Matsui perfectly found his own teammate standing free in the centre when under pressure from a Lens defender.

See the incredible footage here.
