A magnificent own-goal in Hungary
On Thursday night in Hungary, Debrecen hosted FC Fehervar in the 2nd leg of their Hungarian Cup tie. Fehervar had won the opening match 2-1, and with the clock winding down at the end of the second leg the tie was in the balance. Debrecen had got themselves back into the game with goals from Bogdanovics and Kerekes, but an 83rd minute goal from Koller looked enough to send the game into extra-time.
But with four minutes of the regulation time remaining, Debrecen got a penalty. Incredibly the spot-kick was saved, only for unfortunate Slovakian Jan Durica to shoot his side in the foot, scoring one of the greatest own-goals likely to be seen all season.
See what happened here.
