As reported several days ago, during last week’s Champions League match between Real Madrid and Roma, a prankster successfully fooled Real Madrid into believing that he was Oscar-winning actor Nicolas Cage, and in turn Paolo Calabresi enjoyed red carpet treatment at the Bernabeu.

With Los Merengues bitterly embarrassed by this episode, news surrounding this prank has been slow to filter into the public arena. However, a week on, and fly-on-the-wall video footage has been leaked showing the Real staff pandering to the practical joker.

The highlight of the video is seeing Calabresi presented with a “Nicolas Cage 1″ Real shirt by club president Ramon Calderon.
