Fulham 1 - Bolton 2 (Carling Cup, September 26, 2007) Bolton debutant Danny Guthrie stunned Fulham with a 57th-minute strike, only for Cottagers substitute David Healy to send the game into an extra 30 minutes with a 78th-minute effort. However, in the 112th minutes, Bolton substitute Stelios turned in a Kevin Davies pass from six yards to bring some welcome relief for manager Sammy Lee.
