Lingard and Ibrahimovic celebrate

Zlatan Ibrahimovic posts video to prove fitness ahead of Manchester United return

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has today taken to social media to prove that he has made a full return to fitness, ahead of his imminent return to Premier League giants Manchester United.

Recovery path

Ibrahimovic was released by United this summer after just a solitary season with the club, following a cruciate ligament injury that was expected to see the striker ruled out until the new year.

However, long-known for his incredible fitness levels despite his age, the Swedish striker has today proven exactly why the Red Devils are widely expected to announce his return to the club next week.

Social media antics

Taking to his personal Instagram page, the former AC Milan and PSG star posted a video of himself in the gym, showcasing some of the talent that earned him a black belt in taekwondo.

The 35-year-old looks typically athletic and light on his feet, with the ill effects of his long-term knee injury seemingly a thing of the past…
