The chairman of the junior club that developed Danny Welbeck and Marcus Rashford, Ron Jamieson, has spoken to BBC 5 Live about the challenges facing his club.
Rashford is now the darling of Man United after his four goals in two games, while Welbeck was on target for Arsenal on his return to Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ron Jamieson told the national broadcaster:
We need the lease in order to get the funding from the football foundation, without the lease we won’t get anything.
Our fields are second to none. But the building itself is not fit for purpose.
