Sergio Ramos has made a bit of a habit of finding the back of the net this season.
The Real Madrid defender has scored an extraordinary ten goals for Los Blancos in the campaign – but it’s one against them that could be the most memorable. Bayern Munich fans will certainly thank him for it.
The German giants were facing an exit in normal time before a bizarre mix-up at the back for the Spanish side. It involved Ramos crossing lines with Nacho and inadvertently toeing the ball beyond Keylor Navas.
Carlo Ancelotti was in charge of Madrid when Ramos scored an equaliser in the Champions League final against Atletico Madrid in 2014. The Italian couldn’t believe his luck from the sideline.
Robert Lewandowski missed the first leg through injury. His presence has clearly unsettled the Madrid defenders. Perhaps Ramos was having flashbacks of the Polish forward’s four goals for Dortmund when he self-destructed.
