Congo 0 – Senegal 2
Ahead of the African Cup of Nations, Senegal beat Congo on Wednesday in an international friendly.
Liverpool’s Sadio Mane was heavily involved in both of the goals in the game.
The opener was scored by Keita Balde Diao, while the second was finished by Papa Alioune Ndiaye.
Focus on Liverpool’s Sadio Mane
Mane claimed the assist for Diao’s opener, with a fine left-footed pass which bisected the Congo defence.
Lazio striker Diao applied the killer finish.
Senegal doubled their advantage at the start of the second period, and again Mane was instrumental in the goal as his burst into the box and subsequent backheel lead to Ndiaye finding the target.
