Having struggled with injuries during Louis Van Gaal’s first season in charge at Manchester United, Brazilian fullback Rafael has made only 6 Premier League starts so far this campaign.
The talented 24 year old looks to have been frozen out by the Dutch manager but tonight caught the eye playing for the Manchester United U21s against Tottenham.
Starting alongside Victor Valdes and Radamel Falcao in the reserves, Rafael pulled Manchester United level with a superb lob on his weaker left foot.
Catching the Spurs keeper off his line, Rafael perfectly executed a lob from 30 yards which dropped just under the crossbar.
