There was a crazy finish to Doncaster Rovers’s match with Crewe Alexandra on Saturday in League One, as the hosts scored twice deep into injury time to claw an unbelievable win.
The visitors took the lead when Marcus Haber fired home from close range in the first half, before Conor Grant volleyed the equaliser from James Coppinger’s deflected right wing cross.
Crewe thought they’d wrapped up the points when an excellent team attack was finished by Callum Saunders (his first league goal) in the 90th minute.
But there was even more late drama.
Cameron Stewart’s 30-yard free-kick levelled the score in the driving rain, while Rovers snatched victory when Andy Williams shot home from 20 yards.
