Bad day at the office
It was a bad day at the office for Chelsea.
Not only did they lose, see their record breaking hopes go up in flames and see their rivals beat them, but they also saw two of their players square off against each other on the field.
Diego Costa and Pedro were involved in quite the argument, and that obviously got people talking.
As did the ease at which Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen dismantled the supposedly infallible defence of the Blues.
Their manager Antonio Conte faced the cameras after the defeat, and praised Spurs, calling them title challengers.
Conte repeated several times that there was ‘good balance’ to the game, and it was about two good teams, with one who scored in ‘strange moments’ and another who missed chances.
He also claimed Chelsea need to improve after conceding two goals – but reinforced they were top of the league.
