Not back for long
John Terry made his long awaited comeback to the Chelsea side for their FA Cup third round tie against Peterborough, and managed to get himself sent off in the second half.
The Chelsea skipper may feel as though he’d been harshly done by, but of course, the majority of Twitter found it hilarious, mentioned karma, and let’s be honest, Chelsea aren’t the most popular side out there, and bar their fans, people revelled in the red card.
Not only did it give Peterborough an unlikely chance to at least try and make a game of it, despite being 3-0 down at that point, it also provided plenty of talking points and jokes.

John Terry has been sent off for Chelsea. I have no idea what happened, but I reckon it was richly deserved.

John Terry sent off. Chelsea players will be foregoing the post match shower to rush home to their wives before it's too late.

Bruh John Terry waits like 10 years to back into the squad, and when he does… he gets red carded
